Buick is expanding its lineup with a sporty new addition called the 2020 Buick Encore GX. It will make its debut in the spring of 2020 and will fit in the lineup at Kelley Buick GMC between the Envision and the Encore. There will be three trim levels to choose from: Preferred, Select, or Essence.
Encore GX details reveal that it will come standard with a wide variety of advanced features, including Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Front Pedestrian Braking. You can also stay connected through the latest infotainment technology like Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.
To give the Encore GX its own look, it is styled with a wide, modern grille and an athletic stance. It will come standard with 18-inch aluminum wheels. There will be an Encore GX ST model with body-color surrounds and a black mesh grille with red accents if you are looking for a more exclusive look.
The interior is spacious with comfortable seating for up to five passengers and 25.3 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row.
Duncan Aldred, vice president of Global Buick and GMC, said of it, “The Encore GX is another proof point that Buick is The Premium SUV Brand. Just as we did with the Enclave in 2008 and the Encore in 2013, we identified a growing market niche and moved quickly to introduce a new vehicle to fill it.”
